Character Bio: Miss Taro is Pleydell-Smith's secretary in the Caribbean. She actually works for Dr. No and tried to lure James Bond to her house in the mountains so that Professor Dent could kill him. She did in fact lure Bond to her house, but, big surprise, he survived the assassination attempt. After the excitement, Bond left Miss Taro in the hands of the Superintendent...being careful of her nail polish, of course. |
